Searching for datasets

Datasets on resgen is indexed by name and tags. All datasets can be searched by using the search bar located at the top left of the page:

Searches can be narrowed by tags or text. The example below shows a search for chromosome labels (datatype:chromsizes) and gene annotations (datatype:gene-annotations). The search is further narrowed by using the keyword "hg38". Note that this works because the datasets have "hg38" in their name. The preferred method for encoding an assembly, however, is to use the assembly:hg38 tag.
