Disjoint features

Introduction

Disjoint genomic features as defined in the bedtools documentation are features that are described by two genomic intervals. They are typically stored in the BEDPE file format and can be visualized as 2D annotations in HiGlass and Resgen.

Data Preparation

BEDPE files smaller than 10Mb in size can uploaded and viewed in resgen.io without any prior preprocessing. They should be added with the tags filetype:bedpe and datatype:bedpe and associated with an assembly. From there, they can be dragged onto the HiGlass viewer and displayed as rectangles.
